Flipgrid: Empowering Student Voice

Flipgrid is an asynchronous video platform allowing teachers to create Grids (Classrooms) and Topics (Assignments) for students to record responses. Flipgrid focuses on giving students a chance to share their own voice with many different editing tools at their disposal for creating videos. Teachers can also attach documents, videos, and other resources to a Topic for students to use in the creation of video responses.

For teachers, there is a set of tutorials to help educators from: navigating to Flipgrid, creating their accounts, their first Grid, and ending with their first topic. The extra resources show some of the other tools and functions of Flipgrid for educators.

The student resources show students how to access Flipgrid from a mobile device and computer. They also explain a few of the key features for students to use in creating videos and tips for camera-shy students.
